Flickr.com is an image hosting website. Mainly it is for photographers and people who strive for and focus on digital art in the form of images. It's blocked in school and is kind of lame. Flickr is also a website that has forums on how to achieve certain lighting, exposures, and other photographic techniques.
Deviantart.com used to be a great website to display and share art. Now it's sort of overrun by fan girls and pictures of anime characters. If you filter through the garbage though there are some really great stuff.
Vimeo.com is a video hosting website that provides a place for movie makers to share their movies and get constructive criticism (lol at YouTube) it provides HD service, and was the first one to do it. Many movie makers release promos and trailers through this site. Underground filmmakers swear by it.
